A graduate has been co-funded in this company by the European Regional Development Fund and Enterprise Ireland under the Border, Midland and Western Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020. Aims: To recruit a graduate who will bring skills into the company that are critical to future growth. Results: The graduate commenced employment and is contributing to improvements in company productivity and to changes in output to meet defined market requirements.

Apprenticeship Programme

Apprenticeships are a solid part of Mergon’s approach to employing talented technicians with a strong mix of academic and practical skills. Students and apprentices offer programs in the field of instruments and moulds, electritics, mechatronics and mechanics.

Partnering with the local college – five apprentices have joined the Mergon Czech team for a one-year program where they will build their technical knowledge in maintenance while working part time in Mergon Czech, putting this academic knowledge into practice.

 

Mergon International has launched a new Training Center in 2016. Its goal is to provide operators with an individually tailored training environment to improve their skills and coordination.
