We are delighted to have Anasophia working as a Manufacturing Engineer at our newest facility, Mergon Mexico.

“I’m Anasophia, I’m 22 years old and I studied Industrial and Systems Engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey.

I really enjoy doing CrossFit, extreme activities and yoga. Also, one of my favorite hobbies is spending time with my family, my friends and getting to know new places.

I am part of the manufacturing and continuous improvement department at Mergon, and my main activities are making layouts, bill of materials, standard operating procedure, and packaging instructions. I am also in charge of cycle times, new product introduction parts, 5S methodology, continuous improvement and trainer at DOJO area.

My main objective is to enhance the digitalization in Mergon so I had the idea of making video of our SOPs. These play all the time at the workstations and our operators can see how the operation is done.

Also, we started changing checklists to digital, we started with 5S audits and we are about to start the digital maintenance checklists, where each step has pictures to show where the maintenance has to be done and you have the results in a few minutes”.
