Mergon announces that Stéphane Maravel will succeed interim CEO, Aoife Beirne, as Chief Executive Officer
Mergon Group today announces a leadership transition, with Aoife Beirne concluding her role as Interim Chief Executive Officer after more than 12 months in the position, and Stéphane Maravel appointed as Chief Executive Officer.
Aoife stepped into the role in 2025 and has led the organisation successfully through a year of strong progress and momentum. During this time, Mergon has secured new OEM partnerships and continued to strengthen its global position, all while staying true to its core values and culture.
This transition comes at a particularly meaningful moment for the company, as Mergon marks 45 years in business – a milestone that reflects both its proud heritage and the strength that is in place for future growth.
Stéphane brings more than 30 years of international experience in strategy, innovation and business development. Before joining Mergon, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Woods Air Movement and previously spent more than 13 years in senior leadership roles with Schneider Electric. His combination of strategic, commercial and operational experience will be a strong asset for Mergon as the Group builds on its recent progress and enters its next phase of growth and development.
