Mergon has developed novel consumable platforms for diagnostics companies.

Medical Device.
Mergon’s injection molding for medical devices focus includes low complexity, medium to high volume plastic components using blow moulding and/or injection moulding.
Mergon has a strong track record in working with large OEMs and start-up operations to assist them in bringing their medical device vision to market using the IQ/OQ/PQ process in accordance with ISO13485 principals.
Hospital Equipment.
Mergon specializes in hospital plastic manufacturing, producing plastic parts and components used on many items commonly seen in hospital wards and E.R.s including beds, tables, gurneys and analytical equipment.
Our over 25 years expertise in the design and manufacture of these components includes:
- Design for cleaning – sharp edges and crevices minimized
- Material selection to withstand the rigorous and aggressive cleaning employed in hospital environments

Primary Packaging for Medtech and Pharma.
Mergon is one of the leading suppliers of reagent packaging to the diagnostic industry. Each year, we supply tens of millions of plastic containers across Europe and North America in sizes from 15ml up to 10 litres.
Mergon manufactures novel specialist rigid packaging for wound drainage and catheter based products.
